February is Women’s Heart Health Month

Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer of women? In fact, more women die from heart disease than from all cancers combined, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the American Heart Association.Wear red in February for American Heart Month to help raise awareness about heart disease, but don’t stop there. Make sure you know the signs of a heart attack, ask your doctor questions about heart health, and learn how to lower your risk for heart disease. Doing Chores Together Sparks Love Life?

The more time you spend folding sheets, the more time you’ll spend between the sheets! Studies show that couples who put the most hours into housework have sex more than those who spend fewer hours on chores. This goes against the idea that time spent on housework reduces the opportunity for sex.  Instead, it looks like when couples share chores, they’re communicating and making decisions together, which translates to a happy relationship and healthy sex life. Proof that getting down and dirty has its rewards!
